Square Foot Productions’ Favorite Virtual Transformations from 2025

It’s hard to believe 2025 is almost over already. Time really flies when you’re having fun doing what you love – virtually transforming real estate properties into their best versions! We’d like to give a huge thank you to our entire team and all our clients for another fantastic year with us here at Square Foot Productions.
Enjoy looking back with us at some of our favorite projects in 2025, from simple yet impactful cosmetic updates with virtual staging to complete makeovers with virtual remodeling. Whether it’s part of a strategic marketing strategy or testing things out before a physical makeover, a virtual transformation is highly impactful. Which ones are your favorites?

From Empty Lawn to Backyard Oasis
A large backyard is a huge plus for a lot of buyers. What’s an even bigger plus? A stunning backyard oasis complete with pool, sun loungers, and a grill area! This is one of our favorite virtual transformations because of the difference it makes. Now, it grabs attention immediately and emphasizes how valuable this backyard could be.

From Dated to Upgraded
This home has a great layout with an open floor plan and plenty of windows overlooking the backyard. But the flooring, furniture, and finishings are a bit dated and can turn off buyers. We gave it a total virtual makeover by upgrading everything, including the paint and crown molding. Now buyers can see its full potential as a gorgeous home!

From Bare Bones to Home Sweet Home
We love working with vacant spaces like this, because there’s so much potential to play with. Many buyers struggle to envision how a space can be used best, and our virtual staging makes it easy. The staging here strategically highlights the living room’s massive size and even makes the ceiling appear higher.

From Busy Prints to Understated Elegance
This bathroom clearly has potential, but it might be hard to see past that busy pink wallpaper. We completely updated the bathroom with virtual remodeling to make it more elegant and neutral. This is more appealing to a wider range of potential buyers and can turn around someone who might be on the fence about making an offer.

From Potential to Party Central
We love this huge covered patio space! It’s perfect for entertaining a lot of guests, which is exactly how we virtually staged it. Not only can you now see how much seating space there is, it also helps you imagine hosting friends and family here. Building that emotional connection is key to turning online viewers into in-person showings.

From Basic to Blooming
This is a perfectly nice home with a front yard that’s ready for some landscaping. However, adding virtual flowers and bushes instantly boosts its online appeal. It’s much more inviting now and helps potential buyers picture coming home to this view every day.

From Blank Space to a Tranquil Retreat
This vacant bedroom looks nice and has a great view of the back patio. It would probably appeal to a number of interested buyers, but we think it could be marketed more effectively. Some thoughtful virtual staging takes it to the next level, showing what a peaceful retreat it could be. It’s more likely to stand out from the other vacant listings on the market.

From Rustic Restaurant to Classy Wine Bar
It only takes a few subtle changes in this virtual remodel to turn a more rustic, industrial-style restaurant space into a classy wine bar. We kept the main structures, cleaned up the flooring, and updated the walls, bar, and barback to elevate this commercial space. The new look is more cohesive and suits a higher-end venue.

From Uninspired Space to Productive Meetings
Office space is a valuable asset, and it’s important to create areas that facilitate productive business. The empty room is clearly spacious, but it’s a bit uninspiring. By virtually staging it with a conference table and colorful artwork, it’s easier to imagine productive meetings taking place here.

From a Beautiful Foundation to the Full Picture
The foundation is all there in this beautiful residential home; it just needs some dressing up. When staging a home, it’s key to ensure the furnishings match the property’s aesthetic. We used light, neutral furniture with clean lines and luxury accents to complement it. At higher price points, potential buyers want to see the full picture like this.

From Wide Open Spaces to a Defined Floor Plan
This is a great layout for buyers who prefer more defined rooms while keeping the airy feeling of an open floor plan. But it can be difficult to envision how each space can be utilized to its full potential. Here, we’ve virtually staged the image in a way that you can see each room, defining its use and turning this house into a home.

From Vacant Office to Coworking Dream
This is a nice office space that’s ready to be furnished and filled with employees, or marketed as a lovely coworking space. However, it can be difficult to estimate its capacity while vacant. The virtual staging here showcases how many workstations can fit in the space. We even added a relaxing break area in the corner!

From Empty Warehouse to Working Showroom
The possibilities are endless in this light, bright, vacant warehouse. Here, we’ve virtually staged it with areas for ongoing projects, workspaces, and a manufacturing showroom. This helps highlight how large it is, in addition to showing buyers how to work around the large support columns. Now, it looks like a space that inspires creativity!

From Drab Facade to Welcoming Exterior
We love the subtle yet impactful transformation on this property. Not only did we update the building’s facade, but we also added a virtual twilight sky. This makes a huge difference in grabbing attention and helping the new paint job to pop. This is a much better “welcome home” view than before.

From Oh, Woah to Oh, Wow!
We’re all about making a home your own, but not everyone will love this bright pink wallpaper. Virtual remodeling helps market this listing better and allow potential buyers to see the space without all the distractions. We turned this flex room into a more neutral study that’s light and bright, while keeping some of the original character with the chandelier.
